Meet the Doctors
Dr. Juan Cerda received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in May 1997. He also holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Texas Pan American; one in medical technology and the other in biology. He belongs to many organizations such as Texas Optometric Society, American Optometric Society, Rio Grande Valley Optometric Society, The Lions club, FERV and INFANTSEE.
Dr. Cerda specializes in vision and eye health examinations, cataract post-operation, diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, complex contact lens fittings, low vision and children's examinations.
Dr. Armando Reyes received his Bachelor of Science degree from UT Pan-American in 2001 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston in 2005. Originally from McAllen, he returned to the Rio Grande Valley to be close to family and serve the community where he was raised. His practice interests include ocular pathology and pediatric eye exams. In his free time he enjoys cycling, skeet shooting and volunteering at his church.
